The Learners' Village
SiloamXperience Outreach Limited (SOL) is proud to be the main sponsor of The Learners’ Village, a vocational and life skills training institute to equip Cambodian youths and women with employable skills. We are working closely with a local NGO, Siloam Mission & Development Cambodia Organisation (SMDCO) in the school building and are targeting to enrol 80 to 120 students per year.
Located in Toul Damnak Village, Chong Dong Commune, Baray District of Kampong Thom Province, The Learners' Village will reach more than 20 villages in the vicinity, consisting of 6000 to 7000 households with over 20,000 people, including children and youth. It seeks to empower them to break free from the poverty cycle and inspire them to dream of a better future for themselves and their future generations.
It will offer programmes in:
- Hospitality & Tourism
- Food and Beverage Preparation
- Beauty & Personal Wellness
- Business & Retail
- Facilities & Event Management
It will also comprise facilities that serve as “Learning Labs” for students to experience hands-on learning. The Learning Labs include:
- Guesthouse
- Cafeteria
- Multipurpose Hall
- Retail Space
After acquiring a piece of 1.4-hectare land in early 2014, soil was filled to level it in 2016. The boundary wall and gate was then built in 2018 and an interim office/ guardhouse was built in 2019.
The construction of The Learners’ Village will be done in phases. The next step is to lay the foundation for the entire site and build the annexe building to accommodate the training programmes and community activities.

By sponsoring a room in The Learners’ Village, you are giving the key to unlocking endless opportunities through education. A Sponsor Plaque will be displayed outside the room.
